Musk's SpaceX now world's fifth most valuable
Elon Musk's rocket company is now worth about $2.78tn, surpassing Amazon after its share price jumped over 50%. A substantial rise in value transpired merely days following SpaceX's listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange and its procurement of Cursor, an enterprise specializing in AI coding, for $60 billion. However, Amazon made $30.3bn profit in early 2026, while SpaceX lost $4.3bn in that same period.
