Netanyahu and Trump Shown Photo of Khamenei’s Body Retrieved from Bombed Compound

Israeli Channel 12 and public broadcaster Kan both reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump were privately shown a photograph of Ayatollah Khamenei’s body after it was retrieved from the rubble of his Tehran compound. A senior Israeli official separately confirmed the body’s recovery to Reuters. Iran’s state media later confirmed his death, announcing 40 days of mourning. The photo has not been publicly released. Khamenei, 86, had ruled Iran since 1989 one of the world’s longest-serving authoritarian leaders.
