England Face Ashes Injury Scare as Mark Wood Requires Hamstring Scan

England fast bowler Mark Wood experienced hamstring stiffness during their warm-up match against England Lions in Perth and will undergo precautionary scans on Friday. The 35-year-old bowled eight overs before leaving the field midway through the afternoon session. Wood had been out for nine months following knee surgery and is considered crucial for England's Ashes campaign starting November 21. The ECB expects him to bowl again in two days despite the setback, though his participation in the series opener remains uncertain.
