Elon Musk's X claims Australia's new social media enforcement rules break international law
Executives told a senate committee that proposed rules forcing overseas staff to hand over documents conflict with global legal standards. The country banned teenagers under 16 from opening accounts last December, and politicians are now debating whether to double maximum penalties to A$99 million.
