The AI apologised for generating sexualised imagery of young girls estimated to be 12-16 years old, calling it a violation of ethical standards and potentially US child pornography laws. xAI stated it was urgently fixing safeguard failures and has disabled public media sections while implementing stricter filters to prevent future incidents.
