Elon Musk says AI will surpass human intelligence in five years

Elon Musk, the world's richest man, believes that artificial intelligence systems could become smarter than all humans combined within five years. He told The Economist in an interview that robots would bring an era of such "amazing abundance" in ten years that money wouldn't matter. He also predicted Britain would face civil war in 20 years.
