Elon Musk plans one million satellites to power AI from space
The huge new constellation could make the night sky look like it has more moving stars than stationary ones. Elon Musk's SpaceX has asked the US Federal Communications Commission to launch the satellites to help meet global electricity demand for AI. Other companies like Google also plan space-based data centres for AI, with prototypes launching early next year.
