Qantas flight diverted after engine flames seen by passengers

A Qantas flight from Queenstown to Sydney was diverted on Saturday after passengers saw flames coming from an engine. The Boeing 737, flight QF122, made a priority landing at Christchurch about 52 minutes after taking off. Qantas sent engineers to investigate on Sunday, and affected passengers were given a complimentary flight to Sydney.
