Thailand halts 166 data centre projects to draft new nationwide resource and safety rules

Thailand has temporarily stopped 166 data centre projects, including 49 already under construction, to develop nationwide standards for resource use and safety. Four government subcommittees have one month to draft new rules covering economic benefits, infrastructure, locations, and environmental safeguards.
