China And Taiwan Ships Clash Near Pratas Islands

Tension is rising near the Pratas islands after coast guard vessels from Taiwan and China confronted each other for a second day. Taiwan’s coast guard said on 24 May that both sides exchanged radio warnings after a Chinese ship approached the Taiwan-run atoll in the South China Sea.
