Weekly diabetes shot lowers blood sugar, cuts weight

A new weekly jab for type 2 diabetes could really help people manage their blood sugar and lose weight. Trial results show patients on retatrutide injections for 40 weeks lost over four times more weight than those on placebo. Their long-term blood sugar also dropped by about 1.7 to 1.9 percentage points.
