Musk calls X outcry excuse for censorship
Following global condemnation of AI-generated sexualised images on X, Elon Musk reportedly labelled the outcry censorship. The UK government has warned X faces a ban if it breaks the law. Technology Secretary Liz Kendall condemned the images. X now restricts image editing to paid users, a decision Downing Street called offensive. Ofcom is urgently reviewing the situation and may block UK access to X.
