Driver jailed after killing friend in 76mph crash
A man's friend died after being thrown from a car during a high-speed crash on a residential street. While on Wolstanton High Street, David Barker lost control of his Skoda Octavia after driving at 76 miles per hour in what was a 30-mph zone. He received a prison sentence totaling seven years and four months stemming from his involvement in the death of Steven Field, aged 40.
