Donaldson denies 18 sex abuse charges in court
Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, the former leader of Northern Ireland's largest unionist party, is on trial for serious sex abuse claims. He told a jury at Newry Crown Court on Thursday that he did not rape an alleged victim and that both women are lying. Donaldson, 63, faces 18 charges, including rape, gross indecency, and indecent assault, dating from 1985 to 2008.
