SNP wins Holyrood but falls short of majority
The Scottish Parliament election saw the SNP win the most seats but fall short of a majority. John Swinney called the result a "moment of enormous significance." Labour and Reform UK tied for second place with 17 seats each. The Scottish Greens achieved a record result, winning their first-ever constituency seats in Edinburgh Central and Glasgow Southside.
