Rare T. rex fossil could set new auction record
A T. rex skeleton named Gus, one of the most complete ever found, is expected to sell for over $30 million at auction on Tuesday. Gus's sale could make it the most expensive dinosaur fossil ever sold, surpassing the current record of $44.6 million for a Stegosaurus. However, some scientists are concerned that such high prices are making important specimens inaccessible to museums.
