David Miliband wants UK to agree on EU future

Britain's security and prosperity rely on a deep, strong relationship with the rest of Europe, David Miliband stated. The former foreign secretary urged a "national consensus" on the UK's position with the European Union on May 23, 2026. He thinks the government's current EU "reset" is insufficient, valued at only £9bn by 2040.
