David Dimbleby 'appalled' by BBC job cuts and budget savings

Veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby, 87, said he is "appalled" by the BBC's decision to cut up to 2,000 jobs and save £500 million over two years. He also criticised the closure of BBC Studios Events, which covers national occasions like state funerals. Dimbleby, who hosted Question Time for 25 years, called the cuts a "very bad call."
