David Beckham is now Britain's first billionaire athlete.

The 2026 Sunday Times Rich List shows the UK's wealthiest people, with some fortunes changing notably. The Hinduja family now tops the ranking at £38 billion, after their patriarch Gopichand Hinduja died last year. This year's list recorded 157 billionaires, up from 156 a year ago, and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's fortune fell.
