Daniel Dubois beats Wardley, wins WBO heavyweight title

Fabio Wardley suffered his first professional loss, sustaining a badly cut face and a broken nose during the WBO world heavyweight championship bout. Daniel Dubois became champion, stopping Wardley 28 seconds into the 11th round of their intense contest. Referee Howard Foster intervened, after Wardley had two examinations by a ringside doctor.
