Shell CEO Predicts Europe Fuel Shortage From April
European governments may need to limit energy use, while Britain risks recession and rising petrol costs due to supply disruptions. Shell CEO Wael Sawan warned this crisis could hit Europe from April as the Middle East conflict deepens. About one-fifth of global oil and liquefied natural gas flows are disrupted due to the near-closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
