Crowds shut Swatch stores for new watch

Many Swatch stores across the UK closed on Saturday due to large crowds gathering for a new limited edition watch, citing safety concerns. The Swiss firm launched its Royal Pop pocket watch, a collaboration with luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet. These watches, originally priced from £335, are now being resold online for up to £16,000.
