A parked Iran Air passenger aircraft has been destroyed in a US-Israeli missile strike on Bushehr Airport in southern Iran, according to Iranian state media. The attack is part of an ongoing military campaign that began on 28 February 2026, targeting strategic locations across 24 of Iran’s 31 provinces. Bushehr, a key southern port city, also hosts Iran’s only nuclear power facility.
