UK travellers get shorter Thailand visa-free stay
UK travellers will soon have less time to visit Thailand without a visa, potentially impacting their holiday plans. On Tuesday, the Thai government endorsed proposals to shorten the duration of permit-free visits for travelers arriving from more than 90 nations. Many visitors will now see their 60-day visa-free stay cut to 30 days, a decision made due to reasons of national security and concerns over foreign-involved crime.
