China opposes UK ban on wind turbines
Business ties and local growth in the UK could suffer from reduced cooperation. China’s commerce ministry on Tuesday criticised a UK decision not to support MingYang Smart Energy turbines in offshore projects, calling it inconsistent with its stated market openness. The ministry said Prime Minister Keir Starmer in January backed stronger trade and investment links during a China visit.
