China leads the world with over two million factory robots

More than half of all industrial robots globally are now built in China, as the country rapidly scales up its automation. Beijing is also investing heavily in vocational schools to train a new generation of engineers for this robotic workforce. The push is part of President Xi Jinping's £14.7bn plan to put China at the forefront of innovation.
