Catherine West may challenge Starmer for Labour leader

One Labour MP believes the party has a problem, needing a new leader quickly to beat Reform UK and win another period in government. Catherine West urged cabinet ministers on Saturday to challenge Mr Starmer as leader, stating she would do it herself otherwise. Any challenger must gain support from 81 Labour MPs to formally initiate a leadership contest.
