Carney's party approaching Canadian parliament majority

Canada's political landscape is shifting as Prime Minister Mark Carney closes in on a parliamentary majority. His Liberal party contested three key byelections on Monday, while attracting several floor crossings from rival parties. On April 8, Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu became the fourth Tory to join the Liberals, leaving the party just one seat short of a majority.
