Cardiff woman's rare illness found by ChatGPT

After doctors misdiagnosed her for years, a rare condition was finally confirmed for Phoebe Tesoriere, 23, from Cardiff. Following a three-day coma after a seizure, she entered her symptoms into ChatGPT, which proposed hereditary spastic paraplegia. Genetic testing then backed the AI's suggestion, giving her a diagnosis after doctors had previously said she had anxiety or epilepsy.
