Car makers push for another EV tariff delay

Car makers are asking the EU to delay tariffs on electric vehicles again, which could affect EV prices for buyers. The EU and UK car industries want to suspend the Brexit trade deal rules because they can't meet 2027 tariff-free targets. Under the 2020 deal, 55% of a car's value had to be made in Europe to avoid tariffs.
