Canada's Mark Carney to address EU Parliament next month

Next month, Mark Carney, Canada's Prime Minister, is scheduled to speak at the European Parliament. Ottawa accuses Washington of interfering in its sovereignty and making excessive demands during recent collapsed trade talks. Canada has vowed to retaliate with counter-tariffs after the US levied duties of up to 50% on Canadian goods valued at $20 billion.
