Co-hosts Canada opened their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium on Friday. Bosnia struck first and threatened to hand Les Rouges yet another defeat, but Cyle Larin rescued a point with a clinical 78th-minute finish. Canada — winless in six previous World Cup games — finally have something to build on.
