Can Congress force Trump to end the Iran war?
It just voted to, again: the House passed a measure 214-208 on Thursday directing Trump to end the war or seek explicit authorisation, its second such vote. The same day, the Pentagon cut its published death toll from 18 US troops to 14, removing four killed after April's declared ceasefire, per the New York Times. An acting spokesman blamed 'temporary data disruptions' and said it would be fixed.
