George Russell takes Canada pole from Antonelli

Fans could see another Mercedes fight after George Russell and Kimi Antonelli locked out the front row for Sunday’s race in Montreal. Russell grabbed pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix with a late qualifying lap on Saturday, beating his team-mate after trailing earlier in the session. Lando Norris qualified third, while Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen completed the next three places.
