Birmingham New Street evacuated after train fire during rail strikes
Commuters in the West Midlands encountered significant rail disruption on Friday, following a train fire which necessitated the clearing of Birmingham New Street station. The incident happened as West Midlands Railway services were already running a reduced timetable due to strike action by members of the TSSA union.
