Zelenskiy says Ukraine ready for Russia ceasefire
Prospects for peace talks could grow if fighting stops on both fronts. Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Wednesday he welcomed the US-Iran ceasefire and added Ukraine would halt fighting if Russia ends its strikes. Kyiv has long called for a full ceasefire, while more than 200 Ukrainian specialists have been sent to the Middle East to counter Iranian drone attacks.
