ByteDance is reportedly preparing an AI model that can generate interactive 3D virtual worlds in real-time, with founder Zhang Yiming personally involved. The model, built on their existing Seedance system, could launch as soon as next month and is designed for their Pico headsets. Generating content in the cloud would reduce the cost and computational demands on the headsets.
