Prime Minister Andy Burnham's new "No 10 North" office in Manchester is already up and running, with staff working from existing government buildings. He plans to work from the Manchester outpost at least one day a week, aiming to shift power away from Whitehall. However, the main Manchester Digital Campus, intended as its permanent home, is not expected to be finished until 2032.
