Netanyahu's secret UAE meeting as Iran war raged
Regional ties between Israel and Gulf states may deepen after talks held during fighting with Iran. Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that he travelled secretly to Al Ain on 26 March to meet UAE president Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Israel’s office called it a major step in relations, while reports said intelligence chief David Barnea visited the UAE several times during the conflict.
