A broken tap in the emergency department at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Denbighshire ran for about 81 days, possibly wasting more than a million litres of water. A sticker showed the fault was reported on 7 August, but it was only fixed on 26 October. The Betsi Cadwaladr health board blamed delays in getting a specialist part. Campaign group Waterwise called it a horrific waste.
