British woman jailed for six years over false rape claim

Isabel Rose, 26, was sentenced to six years in prison in Hong Kong on Wednesday, having been found guilty of blackmail and perverting the course of justice. She had reported a man for rape in February 2024, but police later arrested her for demanding £100,000 from him. The judge stated Rose showed no remorse and described her as "dishonest, incredible and unreliable."
