Britain's frigate fleet shrinks to just five ships

Britain's Royal Navy reportedly now has only five active warships available in its fleet. The Type 23 warship, HMS Iron Duke, stopped being operational last October and was quietly taken from service without official decommissioning news. Its planned conversion project was confirmed cancelled last November by Defence minister Luke Pollard.
