Bristol Airport flights delayed and cancelled by air traffic control problem

Flights at Bristol Airport were subject to delays and cancellations because of a technical malfunction affecting air traffic control systems. The disruption was brought about by a "connectivity issue" at the Prestwick Centre in Scotland, operated by National Air Traffic Services (Nats). Nats confirmed the issue is now fixed and is working to lift restrictions, but passengers should still check flight status.
