Trump says he is 'permanently opening' the Strait of Hormuz and doing it 'for China'

Trump posted that China is 'very happy that I am permanently opening the Strait of Hormuz' and said 'I am doing it for them, also.' He revealed he wrote to President Xi asking China to stop sending weapons to Iran, and Xi replied saying he was not doing so. US intelligence suggests China is planning to deliver air defence systems to Iran in the coming weeks.' Trump is due in Beijing next month.
