Bill Gates wants strict limits on AI to prevent harm
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates believes artificial intelligence needs significant controls to stop it causing more harm than good. In a 6,000-word essay, he cautioned that the transition to AI would prove to be among the most turbulent periods in human history, unless a plan was in place. Gates suggested taxing AI or robots and reserving some jobs for humans only to manage the risks.
