BBC Cuts Radio 4 Shows Including You and Yours
Wikimedia Commons
The BBC will cut several Radio 4 programmes, including long-running consumer show You and Yours, seeking £500 million in savings. Thinking Allowed, Free Thinking, The Artificial Human and Open Country end too, with less Radio 5 Live commissioning. It plans a new consumer programme plus weekly shows on ideas and AI, expanding In Our Time. Bosses say fewer commissions focus investment on broadcast and on-demand.
