Wegovy weight loss pill now privately available in UK high street pharmacies
The medication Wegovy, used for weight loss, can now be bought privately from UK high street and online pharmacies, but it is not yet accessible via the NHS. It contains the same ingredient as the Wegovy injections and works by making people feel fuller and less hungry. The starting dose costs about £99 for a month's supply, rising to £199 for the highest dose.
