Apple and London police team up to halve phone theft
The global trade in stolen phones is worth millions, and this new move aims to make them much harder to resell. Apple has made a global security change, working with London's Metropolitan Police, to share stolen phone identifiers for tracking. This partnership will disrupt organised international crime, with phone theft already down 50% in London's West End.
