Met Office Gives Amber Heat Alert

People in parts of southern England and south-east Wales could face health risks and disruption as very hot weather builds over the next few days. On Friday, the Met Office issued its highest heat warning level in four years, with temperatures expected to rise through the weekend and reach their highest levels early next week. Forecasts show 34C on Monday and Tuesday, with some places possibly going higher.
