Trump slams Pope Leo for Iran war criticism
The Pontiff faced an uncommon public censure from the U.S. President. Donald Trump criticised Pope Leo XIV on Sunday after the pontiff suggested that the military conflict involving the U.S. and Israel in Iran was being driven by a mistaken belief in boundless power. Trump called the Pope "terrible for Foreign Policy" and said he shouldn't think Iran having nuclear weapons is okay.
